Manchester United is transforming into a data-led organisation — embedding predictive and AI-driven decision-making across football and business. That's exactly the environment I've been building in for the past 2+ years. I don't analyse from a distance. I embed with the people who own the problem and build alongside them.
At The Cloud Intelligence, I sat with SMSA Express logistics operations leads before designing their Conversational AI. At Finanshels, I shadowed accountants to understand why bookkeeping took weeks before architecting the system that cut it to hours — 90%+ TAT reduction. The pattern is always the same: understand deeply, build practically, measure relentlessly.
I carry strong Python and SQL fundamentals, cloud architecture experience (AWS, GCP — with Microsoft ecosystem actively in use), and a track record of delivering AI solutions that create real business impact. I've built production data pipelines, owned systems end-to-end, and taught engineers how to do the same. Speed matters, but so does maintainability and governance.
Most importantly — this isn't just a role to me. Manchester United has been a part of my life since I was a child watching the red shirts on a small screen in Mumbai. The badge carries weight. Excellence on the pitch starts off it, and I want to be part of building that foundation.

I grew up in Mumbai watching Manchester United at odd hours — the early kick-offs playing on a small TV before school, the late ones keeping me up long past I should have been asleep. The red shirts, the Theatre of Dreams, the roar of Old Trafford weren't just sport. They were a weekly ritual that shaped how I understand what it means to strive for the best.
I remember the class of '99, the treble, the Fergie era — and watching the club evolve through every transition. The resilience, the refusal to accept second place, the constant push to rebuild and come back stronger. That spirit is in the club's DNA and it matches exactly how I approach my work.
When I saw this role — Forward Deployed Data Engineer at Manchester United — I didn't hesitate. This is the intersection of everything I care about: building systems that create real impact, working with data at scale, and doing it for a club I've supported since I was old enough to understand the game.
